In the U.S. there are between 500- 1000 homeopathic M.D.s. In the Ukraine there are about 1,000 homeopathic M.D.s. 37% of all British M.D.s use homeopathy. 20% of all German M.D.s use homeopathy. 40% of all French M.D.s use homeopathy. 40 % of all Dutch M.D.s use homeopathy. (These statistics came from British Medical Journal, July 9, 1994, titled "Complementary Medicine in Europe"). In India there are more than 100 homeopathic medical colleges. There are five homeopathic hospitals in the United Kingdom; Royal London Homeopathic Hospital, Bristol Homeopathic Hospital, Tunbridge Wells Homeopathic Hospital, Liverpool Homeopathic Hospital and Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital. Homeopathy is reimbursable through; British National Health Services, the French social security system and the German National Health Insurance System.

Abelson, MD; Michelle A. George; Christopher Garofalo; and Dana Weintraub, was published in the December 1995 issue of Contact Lens Spectrum.
